Welcome to Summer Camp 2022!
We’re ready for your little explorers to join us for a summer of fun at the International School of Arizona! This summer, we are going to be exploring French and Spanish speaking countries all over the globe in our language-immersed classrooms. All language levels are welcome!
Above are some required documents that need to be filled out and returned before or on the first day of camp. Please keep in mind that any camper with incomplete documentation will not be admitted to camp, per AZDHS child care licensing. The Health Records and Immunization Card requires you to provide a copy of your student(s) immunizations. Included in this is a Religious Beliefs Exemption form, in the event of any exemptions you may have had for your student(s) vaccinations. Please submit these documents to [email protected] in a timely manner to ensure a smooth check-in process on day 1.

Pick up / Drop off
Camp drop-off is between 8:00-8:30 AM for all students.
Camp pick-up is between 2:30-3:00 PM for PK1-4 students and 3:30-3:45 for students in Kindergarten and above.
Before care will run from 7:30-8:00 am. After care will run from 3:00PM to 5:00PM. Both of these services are available to all campers at no additional cost. If your child will be attending the extended care program, please make sure to send them with an afternoon snack. Any camper left after 5PM will accrue charges of $35 every 15 minute segment after 5PM.
All campers are to check in at 8am in the front lobby on the first day of camp. You can turn in your paperwork at this time, if you have not already. You will be directed to their class to meet the teachers and see where the classroom is. Campers who have incomplete or missing information will be turned away until the required documentation is provided.
All medications must be checked in with the front desk along with a Medical Consent Form. These medications must be in the original packaging, contain the original prescription labels and Rx number, and contain all doses listed on the prescription (if applicable).
PK1-3 (ages 1-3) – If your child is in diapers, please bring a pack of their diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes all labeled with your child’s first and last name in permanent marker (labeling a bag with the clothes inside is sufficient). For any diaper cream or ointment, we will need a seperate form filled out and turned in to the camp director. This form is included in the welcome packet; you can pick up this form from the front desk at any time. Our young campers also need to bring their nap bedding, a name labeled water bottle, and their sack lunch.
PK4 and above (ages 4+) – Please send your child with: a water bottle, lunch, and a change of clothes. They can choose to bring a backpack to carry any craft items or worksheets home, but it’s not required.
ISA Summer Camp has a free dress code. Please bring your child in comfortable clothes. We will have outdoor recess (weather permitting) but will mainly be inside. Closed-toe, closed heel shoes are required for safety precautions. Hats and sunglasses are recommended for outside. NO flip flops are allowed. Summer spirit shirt day will be on Wednesday.
No Nuts Policy
Due to the high volume of tree nut and peanut allergies, our summer camp is NUT FREE. This includes all nuts, tree nuts, almonds, cashews, etc. ALL NUTS. No exceptions! Any item containing nuts will be discarded.
Morning snacks will be provided for all campers. The menu will be posted in each classroom and on our communication board in the EC lobby. If you choose to bring your child their own morning snack from home, please let one of your camper’s teachers know.
Afternoon snacks for children staying in extended care will not be provided – please pack your child a snack from home. There will be a designated snack time for extended care campers to eat their afternoon snack from home.
All campers are to bring a sack lunch with their name labeled on it. Something Special Meals is also available for purchase. We will not have fridge space to accommodate any lunches. Ice packs are recommended for perishable items.
PK1-3 (ages 1-3) will need to bring bedding to camp for naptime. Naptime is usually 12:15-2:15. Your child’s bedding will be sent home weekly for washing. The PK3 students will break away from the PK4 students in the afternoon for naptime.
We will be outside for most of our morning recesses, weather permitting. If there is a high heat advisory or poor air quality advisory, we will make use of our gyms/cafeteria. We follow AZDHS guidelines and heat index charts for our outdoor play.
T-shirt Spirit Day
Each child will receive a summer camp t-shirt when they check in on their first day of camp. Summer Camp Spirit day will be on WEDNESDAYS. But, you can choose to wear it any, or every day, if you wish!
Water Day / Foam Party
Yes!! Water day, or Foam Party day will be every Wednesday (weather permitting). Please bring your child prepared with their sunblock and swim gear on to have a splish splashin’ time! Water shoes are a requirement. NO flip flops allowed. All children will need a towel and change of clothes. Please make sure your child’s clothes are labeled.
